I've spent years walking into bridal suites in the morning and leaving dance floors in the small hours. I learned that what you truly want to remember can't be requested: your father's face when he sees you in your dress, the friend laughing until he cries during the toast, one hand squeezing another when nobody is looking. My job is to be there, invisible, with the camera ready.
